Condolence From: Adelina Boata

Condolence: Iby was one of my best friends for many years. Iby and I could talk about anything. Iby had a huge heart and an incredible understanding for situations because she had been through so many things in her life, but it made her more empathic to others. She had a great sense of humor and I could always make her laugh at silly Romanian jokes I heard from my mother or just anything that we found humorous. She agreed with me on everything from the injustices of the world we live in and unfair conditions people endure. She even called the White House once, that's how brave and outspoken she was when she felt things were not right. She had been suffering for a long time with her back pain. She tried back surgery but it seemed to cause her even more pain and suffering. She was one of the strongest people I have ever met and I am so glad she had a chance to enjoy her new grandson. I am sure she is looking over everyone right now with love. It will take some time for me to realize I can't pick up the phone and call her to entertain her with my stories. Rest in Peace Iby! I will always love you. - Adelina
