Angelina C. Sarica was born December 24, 1923 to parents Joseph and Mildred Cotrupe of Greenwich, CT and passed away peacefully on January 17, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Dominick Sarica who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her daughter Geraldine Pucci, granddaughter Alana Sarica, sister Grace Kilcoyne and brother Dominick Cotrupe. Angelina is survived by her son Anthony (Buddy) Sarica, son-in-law Angelo Pucci, her grandchildren Alicia (Pucci) Gerbert and husband Jeff, Erica (Pucci) Veronesi and husband Jamie, Gianna Sarica, Isaac Sarica, Catherine (Pucci) Knight and husband Jeff, Christina Pucci and Sarah Pucci. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Domenick and Daniel Gerbert, sister-in-law Anna Cotrupe and brother Demetrio Cotrupe. A lifelong Greenwich resident Angelina attended Greenwich Public Schools, worked as a librarian in Greenwich Library as well as Glenville School. She enjoyed cooking, garden club, crossword puzzles, bowling on a league, softball (playing as well as cheering on) and routing for her NY Rangers. She was quite a shopper and on Saturday mornings you’d find her at tag sales or on Greenwich Avenue looking for bargains. Her greatest love was spending time with family, she was a wonderful influence and teacher for us all, as our matriarch she passed on life lessons and traditions that we will be eternally grateful for. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Roch’s Church St. Roch’s Avenue Greenwich, CT on Thursday January 26, 2017 at 10am followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
