Catherine Francis Quaranta, age 96, passed away on July 22, 2017 at Greenwich Hospital. Daughter of the late Antonio Campiformio and Jenny Marino Campiformio. Pre-deceased by her husband Michael Quaranta, Jr. Lifetime resident of Greenwich, CT, Catherine graduated Greenwich High School in 1940. She enjoyed traveling, singing, playing cards, dressing well, and spending time with family and friends. She was a past President of the Byram Veterans Women’s Auxiliary and member of the Glenville chapter of AARP. Catherine enjoyed many wonderful years with her daughter, Michele, in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Catherine is survived by her daughter, Michele Quaranta, brother-in-law Silvio Quaranta of Florida, several cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Anna Latella and brothers, Mariano Labate, Patrick Campiformio, Joseph Campiformio, and Domenic Campiformio as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Rd. #3, Greenwich, CT. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, 95 Henry St., Greenwich, CT. Entombment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 399 North St., Greenwich, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Catherine’s memory to Nathaniel Witherell Nursing Home, 70 Parsonage Rd., Greenwich, CT.
