Obituary for Emily M Perito

Emily M. Perito, 75 of Cos Cob, CT passed away on March 9, 2018. She was the daughter of Rocco P. Perito and Emma Infanti. She was sister to Rocco P. Perito Jr. (Annette) of Monroe CT. She worked at Clairol until her retirement. She was a longtime friend of Frank Cantavero and family for 35 years, whom lovingly embraced her into their lives, while providing her much needed support. We will remember Emily for the simple joys she loved such as, getting her daily cup of coffee and conversation at Dunkin Donuts, or having a hot dog with the boys at Joey B’s. She was a proud New York Yankees fan. She loved her bus travels to Lancaster’s Amish Country. Her smile was contagious and one we will all remember. Thank you to all of those who made her life a better one or took the time to be there for her. Thank you for your patience and acceptance of Emily for who she was. Thank you to James & Sharon Capparelle for their love and support of Emily throughout the years. Patricia Schumacher (Social Services Town of Greenwich) and Sharon Rosen, Esq.(conservator) thank you both for your dedicated services for her ongoing care, guidance and protection. A simple act of kindness can change someone else’s life. In Emily’s words, “Goodbye hon, I love you”. We will celebrate her life with a Catholic Mass on March 24, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Catherine’s of Siena (Chapel) Riverside CT. Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 399 North Street, Greenwich, CT, where she will rest alongside her parents.
